Shortcut Keys For Windows 10

 

Here are some easy to remember and very important shortcut keys for windows 10. To use them just hold the windows key (winkey) on keyboard  and press the combination key on keyboard.

       For example holding windows key and pressing A will open the action center.

WinKey Open and close the Startmenu.
WinKey +1,+2 Switch to the desktop and launch the nth application in the taskbar. For example, +1 launches whichever application is first in the list, numbered from left to right.
WinKey +A Open the action center.
WinKey +B Highlight the notification area.
WinKey +C Launch Cortana into listening mode. Users can begin to speak to Cortana immediately.
WinKey +D Switch betweenShow Desktop (hides/shows any applications and other windows) and the previous state.
WinKey +E Switch to the desktop and launch FileExplorer with the Quick Accesstab displayed.
WinKey +H Open the Share charm.
WinKey +I Open the Settings app.
WinKey +K Open the Connect pane to connect to wireless displays and audio devices.
WinKey +L Lock the device and go to the Lock screen.
WinKey +M Switch to the desktop and minimize all open windows.
WinKey +O Lock device orientation.
WinKey +P Open the Projectpane to search and connect to external displays and projectors.

WinKey + Shift + Up Arrow Maximize the active window vertically, maintaining the current width.

WinKey +Shift +Left Arrow With multiple monitors, move the active window to the monitor on the left.
WinKey +Shift + Right Arrow With multiple monitors, move the active window to the monitor on the right.
WinKey +Home Minimize all nonactive windows; restore on second keystroke.
WinKey +PRNT SCRN Take a picture of the screen and place it in the Computer>Pictures>Screenshots folder.
WinKey +ctrl +Left/Right Arrow Switch to the next or previous virtual desktop.
WinKey +Ctrl+D Create a new virtual desktop.
WinKey +ctrl+f4 Close the current virtual desktop.
WinKey +? Launch the Windows Feedback App.
